E-mail signature generator

Fill in the fields, pick a layout, then copy your signature into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird. Everything happens in your browser: nothing is sent.

Première fois ? Le déroulé, pas à pas

Hello,
Thank you for your message, I will get back to you shortly.
Kind regards,

Install the signature

Gmail
  1. Click “Copy the signature” above.
  2. In Gmail on a computer, click the gear at the top right, then See all settings.
  3. General tab, Signature section: Create new, give it a name, then paste into the box (Ctrl+V, or Cmd+V on a Mac).
  4. Just below, choose this signature for new e-mails and replies.
  5. At the very bottom of the page: Save changes.

Step by step with pictures (in French): Gmail: write an e-mail, format it and create your signature.

Outlook (new Outlook, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365)
  1. Click “Copy the signature”.
  2. In Outlook: Settings (gear) › Accounts › Signatures.
  3. New signature, give it a name, paste, then choose it for new messages and replies. Save.
Classic Outlook for Windows
  1. File › Options › Mail › Signatures…
  2. New, give it a name, paste the signature into the large box, choose it for new messages and replies, then OK.
  3. If the logo does not show: download the .htm file above and put it in the signatures folder (type %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Signatures in the File Explorer address bar), then restart Outlook.
Apple Mail (Mac) and iPhone
  1. Mac: Mail › Settings › Signatures, + button, untick “Always match my default message font”, then paste.
  2. iPhone: open this page on the iPhone, tap “Copy the signature”, then paste into Settings › Apps › Mail › Signature.
  3. If the iPhone strips the formatting, shake it right away and tap “Undo”: the signature gets its colours and logo back.
Thunderbird, Brevo and others
  • Thunderbird: Account Settings › your address, tick “Use HTML” under “Signature text”, then paste the HTML code (“Copy the HTML code” link).
  • Brevo: in the campaign editor, add an HTML block at the bottom of the message and paste the HTML code. See also our step-by-step Brevo guide (in French).
  • Elsewhere, first try “Copy the signature”; if the formatting disappears, look for an HTML option and use the HTML code.

Good to know

The logo does not show?
  • The address must lead straight to the image (it often ends in .png or .jpg) and start with https://.
  • Google Drive, Dropbox or Facebook links do not work well: they change or require a sign-in. Put the logo on your website or in the WordPress media library.
  • No website? Leave the field empty, paste the signature into Gmail, then add the logo with the “Insert image” button of the signature editor.
  • Some recipients block images until they click “Display images”: that is why text should never be inside the logo.
What makes a good signature
  • Short: name, job title, one phone number, the website. Four to six lines are enough.
  • A light logo, not too wide (100 to 150 pixels); avoid a signature made of a single large image, often flagged as spam.
  • A logo on a white background rather than transparent: in dark mode, a dark logo on a transparent background disappears.
  • Two or three social networks at most, the ones you actually keep alive.
Is my information sent anywhere?

No. The signature is built in your browser. What you type is kept on this device only, so you do not have to type it again next time; the “Clear everything” link deletes it. Only the logo image is loaded from the address you give, to show it in the preview.
